A Message From Our Founder

Dear Fellow Community,

I am so thankful for you and hope you and your loved ones are safe and sound during this unprecedented moment. 

As we face day to day changes in the news, I was inclined to share my thoughts and sincerely thank you for being a part of our community. It is because of supporters like you that we have enjoyed success as a brand. And it is during these uncertain times that I especially want you to know just how much my team and I appreciate you and our like-minded love of animals. 

As you know, in 2004 I started Jax & Bones sourcing local materials and producing pet beds in Los Angeles. Our business practices have not changed at all. In 2020, we continue to source ethically, locally and employ people from our own communities. Our ability to handcraft our products locally is helping us navigate through this global challenge we all face.

We are currently following the global health experts at the World Health Organization (WHO) and US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) on preventing the spread of the COVID 19 Virus. To keep our team and customers safe, we have reduced our in-house staff from 34 to 6 team members. This helps practice social distancing, while implementing required sanitization policies. We assure you that even in this time of uncertainty, we are staying strong and positive. Our core focus and mission remains steadfast; to provide our pets with high quality, sustainable products.

Many people are asking the same question: is it safe to receive and handle a shipment? The WHO and CDC have stated that the likelihood of catching the COVID 19 virus by touching cardboard or products is low. We assure you we are monitoring this daily and are working with our reputable partners (FedEx and UPS) to keep you and your pets safe.

We believe the world will come back to stability soon and we want to thank you for allowing us to service you during this uncertain time.
